The Real Kingdom

Filmed in our backyard. Narrated by Sir David Attenborough.

Zikomo Safari sits in the heart of the Nsefu Sector, the exclusive filming location for the BBC's 2025 landmark series, Kingdom. For five years, film crews lived among these predators to bring their stories to the world.

A Five-Year Journey

Filmed over 1,400 days in the Nsefu Sector, Kingdom documents the intertwined lives of four rival predator families. It is the longest the BBC Natural History Unit has ever spent in a single location, capturing behaviors never seen before.

The Four Dynasties:
Lions (Rita's Pride) Leopards (Olimba & Mutima) Wild Dogs (Storm's Pack) Hyenas (Tenta's Clan)

Meet the Stars

  • Storm: The alpha female of the wild dog pack, leading a lineage of over 200 descendants.
